Hi, I’m Hannah!
I grew up in Pennsylvania, but now have been in South Dakota for 5 years. I made my way to the midwest for internships and summer jobs in college, and knew I was going to move out here one day. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Equine Studies in December 2018. Since I graduated early, I wasted no time and moved out to South Dakota after Christmas that year! I worked for a super cool AQHA performance horse program that I had interned at that summer before. I got to meet some incredible people, well known horses and travel around a bit. It was such a cool experience that set me up for where I am now. After that I worked for a vet clinic, and that put me in Colome, SD!
I’ve always had a camera in my hand but never considered making it a business until I moved out here. I always took photos of horses, but then got more serious about that, then eventually made the jump to photograph people- and never looked back! I had tons of fantastic mentors and peers help me get to where I am today.
And between all this I met my now husband, Hoyt! We just had a perfect little boy in December 2022. Being a wife and mama is my favorite accomplishment!

Equine Portraits
Growing up I was your typical horse girl. While in college and after, I worked/interned for a few different AQHA breeders. Now, I get to have fun at the ranch with our mares and upcoming stud colts. I have a Bachelors of Science in Equine Studies as well! I offer Sale photos, stud photos and more!
Highly recommend Hannah with Hannah Walsh photography! She was professional, on time, and so FUN to work with! She captured our engagement pictures as well as our wedding day. She provided us a detailed schedule for our wedding day that included all the traditional wedding pictures and she had lots of great ideas for pictures that were tailored to my husband and I. Hannah traveled hours with us to the Badlands to capture our engagement pictures, travelled 3 hours for our wedding, and stayed longer than I had booked her for! She is extremely talented and truly enjoys what she does. We will be using her again!
